As a massage therapist and former dancer, I believe that pain, soreness, and overuse injuries shouldn't get in the way of your goals, whether that's performing on Broadway or coaching your kid's soccer team.
I offer three services: Sports & Performing Arts Massage, Clinical Massage, and Wellness Massage, with a specialization in working with performing artists. I use my experience as a dancer, educator, and anatomy nerd to inform my work as a massage therapist and help every client who comes to the table.

Sports & Performing Arts Massage
Designed to address the unique ways in which performers and athletes use their bodies, Sports & Performing Arts Massage takes the training, performance, and recovery of the body into account when creating a treatment plan. Deep tissue massage, trigger point release, muscle energy techniques, and scraping are some of the modalities that can be used in these sessions.
Clinical Massage Therapy
Clinical massage therapy looks at the cause of dysfunction as well as the presenting symptoms. When selecting this type of session, you may have a specific injury or issue you want to address (for example: chronic headaches; post-surgical recovery; PMS symptoms; muscle sprains or strains; carpal tunnel syndrome; among others). Techniques for treatment could include a variety of Swedish modalities, MET, icing or heat, joint mobilization, TMD massage, or gentle Cranio-Sacral work.
General Relaxation and Wellness Massage
Feeling stressed, tired, or just need to unwind? Relaxation massage is designed to calm the sympathetic nervous system, encourage circulation, and allow clients to walk away feeling refreshed. These sessions incorporate Swedish massage techniques and gentle heat.

Each session is customized to your individual needs. After taking a thorough medical history and assessment, we will determine goals for treatment and use the most appropriate techniques to achieve them.
