Policies

As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) I follow a Code of Ethics, dictated by the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and adopted by the State of Ohio. All information clients provide, both written and verbal, will remain confidential.

Cancellation

There is no charge for cancellations received at least 24 hours in advance. If a session is canceled with less than 24 hours notice, the full session fee will be charged to the client.

Illness

I ask that clients please reschedule their appointment if they are feeling ill or have a fever. Likewise, please understand that I will not perform a massage while I am ill to avoid potential spread of any sickness.

With some medical conditions, massage/bodywork may not be advised. If a massage could be potentially harmful to a client, I reserve the right to decline to perform the massage.

Medical History

It is the client's responsibility to disclose their medical history to the massage therapist ahead of treatment. This helps to determine the appropriate course of treatment. Some conditions may be contraindicated for massage therapy.

Consent

Before treatment, clients will be informed about the techniques to be used, areas to be worked on, potential for soreness, and the right to stop or change the treatment at any time. I will continue to check in during the session regarding pressure, comfort, and temperature. Both the client and the therapist have the right to discontinue the session at any time.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, credit card, HSA/FSA, or Venmo. Tipping is always welcome - but never required.
